Given the importance of healthy and growing marriages, Parkcrest offers a variety of opportunities for encouraging and promoting marital relationships. Throughout the year, a number of small groups and classes are provided which focus on various aspects of marriage enhancement. Couples retreats and seminars are offered at selected times, as well. Additionally, ministry is available throughout the year for those relationships needing special attention and support. We invite you to take full advantage of the options for relationship building which you will find on this page.
Join us on Sundays at 10:00 am in Room 500. Married couples of all ages are welcome. If interested, contact Bob & Cindy McKinney.
The Marriage Restoration Ministry is designed to assist couples in crisis through the use of a 12-week program called Reconciling God's Way based on the truths of God's Word, derived out of Biblical study (Matthew 28:18-20). By submitting to God's authority we learn to see through his viewpoint and how he wants us to reconcile with each other ... not how the world views reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:17-20). Each participant uses a workbook focusing on relationship with God and his plan for marriage that guides them right back to Scripture. Each participant is assigned a support partner. The participant and support partner commit to meeting weekly for no more than one hour to provide accountability while maintaining confidentiality in completing the required discussion questions, assignments, and to pray. The support partners are not professional counselors, so this program is not meant to be in lieu of professional healing.
